历史沿革[edit]

村名来自1957年的一次合并：五个初级合作社并成一个高级社，取名五星；1987年定为五星村委会[1]。

经济[edit]

全村辖7个自然村，343户，1664人，耕地2180亩，其中水田1679亩。2000年以前以种粮为主，之后部分党员和村民带头种植柑桔、油栗等果树[1]。

荣誉[edit]

国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布第二批国家森林乡村，五星村在内；2024年1月又获评「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」[1]。
