安南村是怀集县诗洞镇东北部的行政村，距圩镇10多公里，辖23个村民小组，村情页记总人口3872多人。[1]村名取“安福”“南平”两地名各一字。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

成立生产大队时，从当地的安福、南平两个名字各取一字，得名安南。[1]起初称安南大队（1964年），1983年改乡，1987年改称村委会，1989年4月又称管理区，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地1611亩、山地32340亩；村内有10多台手扶拖拉机和农用车从事运输，村民在水稻之外种沙糖桔、贡柑、甜笋等。[1]
