名称与沿革[edit]
据村情页，因这里多沙、色如黄金而名金沙。[1]起初称金沙大队（1964年），1983年改乡，1987年改称村委会，1989年4月又称管理区，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]
经济与水源[edit]
耕地980亩、山地15600亩。村内金沙山的泉水水质好，村情页称它是圩镇及沿线一万多村民的饮用水源。[1]镇概况另载金沙茶为镇内特产。[2]2019年9月，金沙村入列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
