平南村是广东省肇庆市怀集县幸福街道辖下的行政村，原属怀城镇，在原镇区西南部，毗邻坳仔镇和大坑山镇，距县城约9公里，属偏远山区。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

村委会设在平南村，村名即由此而来。[1]平南一带1955年办高级社，1958年转为生产大队；1983年起依次设乡、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1998年改称村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

共有2794人，下设22个村民小组，耕地856亩，山地17200.5亩；山区以厘竹为主，厘竹基地13290亩，另营造速生丰产林900亩，并办有厘竹加工一条街。[1]
