梅石村是广东省肇庆市怀集县幸福街道辖下的行政村，原属怀城镇，在原镇区东南部，与坳仔镇相连，距县城约5公里。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

办合作社时，取本地梅鲁、石苍两村各一字合称梅石。[1]梅石一带1955年办高级社，1958年转为生产大队；1983年起依次设乡、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1998年改称村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

总人口1432人（277户），下设10个村民小组，耕地628.5亩，山地15753亩；有7563亩厘竹基地，并发展竹材深加工和路边服务业，社会总产值（2009年）1516.4万元，人均收入5751元。[1][2]2019年9月，梅石村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2023年4月又列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位名单」。[1]
