盘寨村是广东省肇庆市怀集县幸福街道辖下的行政村，原属怀城镇，在县城近郊，北面隔绥江与龙湾相望，距县城约1公里。[1][2]

名称与沿革[edit]

村民原居住在一块半圆、形似木盘的田洞里，村称“盘村”；1958年建生产大队时，取盘村与车寨两村各一字，定名盘寨。[1]1960年代末并入龙湾大队，1973年分出，1983年改乡，1987年为村委会，1988年为管理区，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村分8个村民小组，330户，1742人，耕地580亩，山地5128.5亩；村民以建筑业为主，农闲时八成以上劳动力转入第三产业，松脂基地有3525亩。[1]社会总产值（2009年）2470万元，人均收入5615元。[1]2019年9月，盘寨村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]境内有塔山公园。[2]

著名人物[edit]

谢铁柱，1931年生于盘寨村，1944年入怀集中学就读，后在北京的军事科学院系统工程研究所任研究员。[1]
