湘下村是广东省肇庆市广宁县古水镇下辖的村。湘下村在古水镇西北部，水资源丰富，村里建有小型水电站，风景好，可作游览休闲之处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

道光年间归平岗铺管。民国时期，1921年隶二十三区，1930年立泷贤乡，归二区，1937年划入冀宁乡，1946年并入古水乡。1951年单设湘下乡；1958年称湘下大队；1983年复乡，1987年建村委会，1989年改管理区，1998年10月起叫湘下村民委员会。[1]

地名来历：1951年单设湘下乡，1987年乡改村委会，村名因此确定；此前民国时期的泷贤乡，名由泷下、贤洞两地各取一字而成。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村辖23个自然村，据博雅地名网所载，2008年前后有657户2987人，耕地669亩，山林20189亩，鱼塘35亩，党员64人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年1月，被评为「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
  • 2024年1月，被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
  • 2019年9月，进入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
