大平村是广东省肇庆市广宁县古水镇下辖的村。大平村在古水镇西部，地势平坦，全镇最大的一片农田在这里，是古水镇的产粮大村之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间叫大平寨。1958年建大平大队，1964年一度改名东风大队；1983年立大平乡，1987年建村委会，1989年改管理区，1998年起叫大平村民委员会。[1]
地名来历：村名来自1958年的大平大队，1987年大队改作村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村辖25个自然村，据博雅地名网所载，耕地666亩，山林6910亩，鱼塘15亩，户数666户、人口2984人。[1]
