石咀社区是广东省肇庆市广宁县石咀镇的社区，位于镇中心，是镇政府所在的墟镇，距县城48公里，面积约10.02平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清道光年间称石咀街，属膺洞铺。1954年有红群、和平两个农业社；1983年两社合并为石咀乡，1987年称石咀村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1999年复称村民委员会，2004年村委会与居委会合并，成立石咀社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

地名有两种说法：据当地《冯氏族谱》，清乾隆年间村民在山咀小河边建总镇庙，又沿河岸砌石建铺，因此得名；另一说是辖区内有座形似鹰嘴的石山，称石嘴。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：社区有3038人，其中502人为非农业人口；设25个村民小组和1个居委会；耕地1374亩，林地约11257亩。居民种菜、种果、养鱼养禽，也经商；茶竹种1200亩，沙糖桔800亩，用材林10500亩，桉树种植面积为全镇之最，集体经济靠种林和出租商铺。[1]

2019年9月，石咀社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
