村民希望子孙为人诚实，故名大诚。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

大诚大队成立于1958年，1983年改乡，1987年为村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年复称村民委员会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村在丘陵山岗地带，仅有一条过境公路。山上种速生桉、砂糖桔，水田种水稻、花生，并有鱼塘养殖。[1]
