厚溪村在横山镇，位于绥江边，村域面积约8.24平方公里，下辖18个村民小组，博雅地名网载总人口3530人，是镇内离县城最近的村，约6公里。[1]2026年1月被评为广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间已称厚溪。1954年为厚溪、田坳、丰崀三个农业社，1958年合为厚溪大队。1979年这一带的公社即名厚溪公社。[5]此后1983年改乡，1987年为村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年复称村民委员会。[1][2][3]
经济[edit]
村里设有一处开发区，集工厂与商住于一体，产业以造纸、竹木加工和制衣、皮革为主；多数村民外出务工，兼种地耕山。厚溪离横山圩13公里，可通往县城和大信、白坎、罗锅等村。[1]
