六桥村是广东省肇庆市鼎湖区莲花镇的行政村，位于永莲公路（321国道）旁，分土徐、中兴坊、下徐、冲边、塘美、旺村六个自然村，共7个村民小组，人口603人（博雅地名网所录，年份未注明）[1]。宋嘉定年间（1208—1224年），徐氏族人从端州迁来建村[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

徐氏族人于宋嘉定年间自端州迁来。1953年5月划入高要县第九区；1955年起隶永安区，在下莲塘乡辖内；1958年并入广星人民公社三团，后隶属永安人民公社；其间一度并入大布大队，1975年分出；1986年定名六桥村；1988年3月划出高要，归鼎湖区；1993年4月改隶新设的莲花镇，1998年起设村民委员会[2]。

村民收入主要来自种养业、运输业和外出务工，人均年收入5833.3元（年份未注明）[1]。

著名人物[edit]

谢敬持（1895年生）出生于六桥村。1923年入农会并入党；1926年起任高要县农会副委员长，兼任省农会西江办事处领导成员[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把六桥村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]。
