历史沿革[edit]
邓氏族人于1768年迁来定居。1953年5月划入高要县第九区依坑乡；1958年并入广星人民公社三团，后隶属永安人民公社；1986年定名曹王村；1988年3月划出高要，归鼎湖区；1993年4月改隶新设的莲花镇，1998年起设村民委员会[2]。
名称由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所述，村初名旺财村，后因人口增多、喧闹嘈杂，把“财”改为同音的“曹”，“旺”写作简体的“王”，成为“曹王”[1]。

村集体经济年总收入43万元，人均收入6000元（年份未注明）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，曹王村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
