布基村是广东省肇庆市鼎湖区莲花镇的行政村，位于321国道旁，耕地约4100亩，下辖布基村、新屋村2个自然村、14个村民小组，总人口2508人（博雅地名网所录，年份未注明）[1]。南宋咸淳六年（1270年），陈氏族人从广利桂荣迁来建村[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
陈氏族人于南宋咸淳六年自广利桂荣迁来。1953年5月划入高要县第九区，隶布廊乡；1958年并入广星人民公社三团，后隶属永安人民公社；1986年定名布基村；1988年3月划出高要，归鼎湖区；1993年4月改隶新设的莲花镇，1998年起设村民委员会[2]。
名称由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地原名白鹤洲。堪舆家赖布衣路过，察看风水后断定这里日后人文兴盛，村民认为他所言灵验，就改村名为“布基”以纪念，并含“奠定基础”之意[1]。

著名人物[edit]
陈殿邦（1902年3月生）出生于布基村，后举家定居肇庆东社乡塔脚（今属端州区）；青年时就读广东省立第四师范学校，“五四”运动期间参加进步活动[1]。
