历史沿革[edit]
建村者为从大梁村迁来的梁氏。1953年5月划入高要县第九区，称依坑二乡；1958年并入广星人民公社三团，后隶属永安人民公社；1984年依坑乡分设，1986年定名依坑二村；1988年3月划出高要，归鼎湖区；1993年4月改隶新设的莲花镇，1998年起设村民委员会[2]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所录村情，全村耕地1020亩，其中水稻田403亩，鱼塘617亩；村集体经济总收入17万元，各组集体经济总收入70万元；各自然村村道全部硬底化，并通了自来水。同页记村面积为0.25平方公里[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，依坑二村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
