古遗村是广东省肇庆市鼎湖区莲花镇的行政村，紧靠321国道，是镇中村，辖区面积约4平方公里，354户、常住人口1174人，下辖9个村民小组、1个自然村（博雅地名网所录村情，年份未注明）[1][3]。元代，谢氏族人从莲塘迁来定居[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
谢氏族人于元代自莲塘迁来。1953年5月划入高要县第九区，隶大布乡；1958年并入广星人民公社三团，后隶属永安人民公社；1986年定名古遗村；1988年3月划出高要，归鼎湖区；1993年4月改隶新设的莲花镇，1998年起设村民委员会[2]。
名称由来[edit]
村建于元末明初，原名已无从查考。村中祠堂有一副对联，上联“庙貌东山古”，下联“家风吉水遗”，取两联末字，得名“古遗”[1]。
经济[edit]
村内人多田少，可耕地约100亩，鱼塘约1000亩，山坡地约300亩；有两栋商业楼和一栋约500平方米的办公楼，楼内设社区公共服务站等；集体年纯收入约300万元，富余劳动力外出或到附近工厂务工[3]。
