岗坳村是信宜市思贺镇辖下的行政村，在镇域西北部，村域19.63平方公里、耕地2671.8亩，分11个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时隶岗坳背，解放初设岗坳乡，1958年立岗坳大队；1983年改设乡政府，1987年起为村民委员会，1991年一度叫管理区办事处，1999年复称岗坳村民委员会并沿用至今[1]。
名称由来[edit]
明代汉人陆续从罗定迁来，此处是入口；清初在一处凸形山包上建古庙，庙旁有长2至3公里的山岗，两者交接处有一块凹陷的平地，庙称“岗凹庙”，“凹”与“坳”同音，后逐渐改作岗坳[2]。
