地名由来[edit]

圩街旁边的河湾水面平静，像一方池塘，村因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立前，此地属林垌乡十七堡；新中国成立后立平塘乡，土地改革后与倒流合为平流乡，1958年再分出，立平塘生产大队。此后经乡政府、管理区办事处等阶段，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
