地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所记传说，村里过去到处生长高大茂密的林木，因此叫林垌。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前设林垌乡，平塘一带多数村原归其管辖；1958年立林垌生产大队，此后经乡政府、管理区办事处等阶段，1999年起称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，林垌村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
