历史沿革[edit]

村名来历：村里有一块相当方正的大田，年年收成好，因此叫四方田。[1]

村级建置的演变如下：1952年定为白石乡四方田大队。1983年时，改称四方田乡政府。接着在1989年，成立管理区办事处。最终在1999年，称四方田村民委员会至今。[1]

文化[edit]

  • 2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 2021年9月，以三华李入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
