坡坪村是广东省茂名市信宜市白石镇下辖的行政村，位于白石镇北部。据博雅地名网所载，全村设32个村民小组，在册1054户、4354人，总面积7.73平方千米，耕地1477亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名来历：这里原是一片大草坡，陈姓人最先迁来开垦耕种，因而取名坡坪。[1]
村级建置的演变如下：地名定于解放初年期。1956年设坡坪生产大队。1963年时，改称坡坪乡政府。到1987年时，称坡坪村民委员会。接着在1989年，成立管理区办事处。最终在1999年，复称村民委员会至今。[1]

- 2019年12月，列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单。[1]
