金林村是广东省茂名市信宜市白石镇下辖的行政村，位于白石镇东北部。据博雅地名网所载，全村设14个村民小组，在册358户、1515人，总面积6.17平方千米，耕地1208亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名来历：村后山有一片树林，入秋后树叶一片金黄，因而取名金林。[1]
村级建置的演变如下：民国年间叫作京，解放初年改称金林。1985年设白石金林乡政府。到1987年时，称金林村民委员会。至1990年，成立管理区办事处。最终在1999年，复称村民委员会至今。[1]
