坳头村是广东省茂名市信宜市白石镇下辖的行政村，位于白石镇北部。据博雅地名网所载，全村设24个村民小组，在册929户、3851人，总面积6.87平方千米，耕地1242.1亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村级建置的演变如下：民国年间归入白石上乡第五堡；建国后另设白石乡坳头生产队。1963年时，改称坳头乡政府。接着在1989年，称坳头村民委员会。至1990年，为管理区办事处。最终在1999年，复称村民委员会至今。[1]
