历史沿革[edit]

村名来历：相传曾有龙从天上飞下落在此地，故称落龙，又作乐龙，解放后改称岳龙。[1]

村级建置的演变如下：解放初年称乐龙乡。1960年按谐音写作岳龙，1961年设岳龙大队，1981年设乡政府。接着在1989年，成立管理区办事处。最终在1999年，称岳龙村民委员会至今。[1]
