佑英村是信宜市玉都街道辖下的村委会，原称艾鹰垌，后改为现名[1]。

名称与沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记述：佑美垌上有一座山，形状像艾鹰，所以叫艾鹰垌，后来嫌名字不好听，改称佑英[1]。佑英在1958年是竹山公社下的大队，到1983年立乡，1987年随东镇镇建制改设村民委员会，1989年一度设管理区办事处，1999年恢复村民委员会之称，2021年5月起划入玉都街道[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

该村下设43个村民小组，在册756户、3225人（未注明年份），总面积8平方公里，耕地1100亩，种水稻、木薯、玉米；特色是竹器编织、山地鸡养殖和毛纺织，据称山地鸡养殖专业户十多户、年出栏超十万只，毛纺织厂3间，用工100多人[1]。2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号，2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
