竹子村是广东省茂名市化州市那务镇所辖的行政村，在镇域西北部，下设12个村民小组。[1]据博雅地名网，该村在册360户、1820人（村委会所报，未注年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年体制下放，原来的水明大队一分为三，竹子成为其中一个大队。此后名称依次是：竹子乡（1983年）、竹子村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起又称村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村委会自述（未注年份）：全村面积2.4平方公里，耕地约612亩，主要经济作物为蚕桑、养植，上一年农村经济总收入520万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
