历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，六村归壶垌乡管；1952年土地改革时划给上埌；1958年成立六村大队；1983年建乡，乡驻白坟坡。1987年成立村民委员会，1989年称管理区办事处，1999年起又用村民委员会之名。[1]

村委会自述（未注年份）：全村面积11.27平方公里，耕地约1200亩。[1]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

博雅地名网在村中列出五处景点：钟亚北烈士纪念碑、龙之脊梁纪念碑、灯檠冼太庙、天官庙和城堡遗址；天官庙供奉的莫三，被称为清代的地主和“圣贤”，如今由村民立庙祭拜。[2]
