村庄位于官庄岭旁，故叫官庄。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年设立官庄大队；1983年起称官庄乡；官庄农村管理区一名始于1986年；1999年改由村民委员会管理，至今未变。[1]

2023年4月公布的「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中有该村；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
