金村属茂名市电白区旦场镇，是镇辖的行政村，坐落在镇域中南部[1]。博雅地名网记载其下设15个村民小组，登记568户，人口2823，辖区面积1.68平方公里，另有1744亩耕地[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年这里建乡，1958年改编为生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年又改回村委会，名称一直用到现在[1]。

经济[edit]

据该页介绍，村内年均气温约22摄氏度，年降水量2200毫米上下；种植的作物主要是荔枝、龙眼、花生、水稻、红薯等[1]。突出的收入项目为荔枝、龙眼和劳务输出，上一年全村农村经济总收入记为1106万元[1]。2010年在县扶贫挂钩单位帮助下，村里在靠近325国道的旦青路边建起一座253平方米的一层房屋，设三个铺面，以出租增加集体收入[1]。
