花园村属茂名市电白区旦场镇，是镇辖的行政村，坐落在镇域东部^[1]。博雅地名网记载其下设9个村民小组，登记470户，人口2901，辖区面积2.36平方公里，另有2083亩耕地^[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1962年，本村从红花生产大队划出，另立为生产大队；1983年改乡，1987年改村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年再称村委会，现名由此沿用^[1]。

据该页介绍，村内年均气温约22摄氏度，年降水量2200毫米上下；种植的作物主要是荔枝、龙眼、花生、水稻、红薯等^[1]。突出的收入项目为荔枝、龙眼、蔬菜和劳务输出，上一年全村农村经济总收入记为1132万元^[1]。村集体把山岭发包给人种果树，并出让石料开采，收取承包金^[1]。

2019年10月入选广东省卫生村名录^[1]。
