历史沿革[edit]
1962年，本村从红花生产大队划出，另立为生产大队；1983年改乡，1987年改村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年再称村委会，现名由此沿用[1]。
经济[edit]
据该页介绍，村内年均气温约22摄氏度，年降水量2200毫米上下；种植的作物主要是花生、水稻、红薯等[1]。突出的收入项目为对虾养殖、虾塘租金和劳务输出，上一年全村农村经济总收入记为878万元[1]。村集体把山岭发包给人种果树，并出让石料开采，收取承包金[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月入选广东省卫生村名录；2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局确定它参与创建「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」；2026年1月，它又被评为「百千万工程」第二批典型村（省级）[1]。
