黄坡村是黄坡镇下辖的行政村，晚清外交官陈兰彬的故乡，村内有陈兰彬故居[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

黄坡村在1952年隶属郑屋行政村，随后依次归郑屋小乡、大屋大队，1961年归黄坡小公社，1964年才分出，自成黄坡村大队。1978年黄坡村和坡尾村各为一个大队，1983年合并；此后村委会（1985年）、管区（1989年）几经更替，1999年定为村委会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，黄坡村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年1月，入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」名单；2026年3月，村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

陈兰彬故居是陈兰彬于1875年（清光绪元年）建成的住宅，前后两进，砖木结构，四合院布局，面积约420平方米（快懂百科作400多平方米）；陈兰彬在这里会客、接待官员，当地人因此叫它“官厅”。该故居1983年被公布为吴川县文物保护单位，1999年升为湛江市重点文物保护单位，省级文物保护单位的公布年份，快懂百科作2000年，百度百科作2002年。2005年吴川市文化部门对其瓦面和墙壁作了修缮[3][4]。

著名人物[edit]

陈兰彬（1816年—1894年，一说1895年），字荔秋，黄坡村人，咸丰三年（1853年）中进士，后任刑部主事。1872年，清廷派他与容闳分任监督和副监督，先后率四批、共120余名幼童赴美留学；1875年起出使美国、西班牙、秘鲁。著有《使美记略》等[3][4]。
