黄坡镇是广东省湛江市吴川市西南部的镇，在鉴江入海口的西岸，濒临南海；东隔鉴江与吴阳镇相望，北接振文镇和塘缀镇，西南与湛江市坡头区相邻，面积153.27平方千米[1]。镇人民政府驻城区社区，下辖1个社区、29个行政村[1]。1938年至1951年，这里是吴川县治所在[1]。2005年，文化部命名黄坡镇为“中国民间文化艺术之乡”[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

黄坡曾是吴川县的治所，时间从1938年到1951年[1]。1987年4月，区的建制撤销，改设黄坡镇[1]。中山镇原本自成一镇，下设12个管理区，共有自然村102条，面积73平方公里，后来并入黄坡镇：百度百科记作2004年1月“重新合并”，博雅地名网和快懂百科记作2003年[1][2][4]。

地理环境[edit]

鉴江是粤西最大的河流，与国道325线一起贯穿全镇，鉴江出海口在镇的东面[2]。气候属亚热带季风气候[1]。博雅地名网记下辖面积78.4平方公里，为中山镇并入前的数字；中山镇另有73平方公里[3][4]。

人口民族[edit]

2019年末，全镇户籍人口184091人[1]。第七次全国人口普查（2020年）统计的常住人口为136880人[2]。

经济[edit]

2010年，全镇生产总值为11.03亿元，工业总产值16.02亿元，支柱产业为机械制造、酿酒、水泥和沙石[2]。2019年，全镇税收收入5130.44万元，固定资产投资10.04亿元，农业总产值9.05亿元，规模以上工业的产值8.1亿元；辖区有工业企业123家，其中规模以上12家[1][2]。

镇内有建筑面积44000平方米的农贸市场，博雅地名网称其为广东乡镇中最大的一个；黄坡港占地2公顷，年吞吐量50万吨，是吴川唯一的对外开放口岸[4]。黄坡圩的圩日为农历逢一、四、七[2]。农业方面，镇上有23000亩连片稻田和4300亩北运菜基地，水产以沙螺、肥蟹等为主；当地人将此处称作“吴川粮仓”[2][4]。

文化[edit]

吴川飘色是国家级非物质文化遗产，2008年6月7日列入名录，名称为“抬阁（芯子、铁枝、飘色）（吴川飘色）”[5]。据民间艺人陈寿全生前的回忆，清末黄坡一带的游神赛会上，他与父亲在木箱上设计了《哪吒出世》，为飘色之始；而《吴川县志》所载的早期“转色”则出现在梅菉[2][5]。同在2005年，省文化厅授予黄坡镇“广东省民间艺术之乡”的称号，项目是飘色[2]。

当地习俗中有端午龙舟赛，2009年黄坡那津龙舟队代表吴川参加湛江国际龙舟赛，获湛江组第一名[2]。木偶戏又称“鬼仔戏”，在黄坡、吴阳一带尤为流行[2]。土特产有蟛蜞汁、田艾米乙和腌制的黄坡蒜头[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

陈兰彬故居在黄坡村，建于1875年，是二进砖木四合院式建筑，1983年起先后被公布为县、市、省级文物保护单位[6]。李汉魂故居在岭头村，由勤园、俭园组成，2008年定为广东省文物保护单位[7]。水潭村有水潭吴氏大宗祠，占地1200平方米[8]。

教育[edit]

川西中学位于城区，前身为道光十七年（1837年）创办的川西书院，1943年起为完全中学[9]。

著名人物[edit]

陈兰彬（1816年—1894年），黄坡村人，晚清外交官，曾任留美幼童的监督并出使美国[6]。李汉魂（1895年—1987年），岭头村人，曾任广东省政府主席和内政部长[7]。
