樟铺村是吴川市樟铺镇政府驻地所在的行政村，位于镇的中部，村名得自村委会驻地樟铺圩，辖10条自然村、12个村民小组[1][2]。村里是明洪武年间进士林昶的故里[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1952年，此地属第三区（振文）的圹口行政村；1957年称圹口小乡，次年称圹口大队，1961年划归樟铺小公社，1964年起单设樟铺大队。1975年改属樟铺公社，1983年设乡委会，1987年称村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，2001年起又称樟铺村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

全村总人口6915人，耕地2586亩，种水稻、蕃薯、花生[1][2]。其中樟木、水井头、里村、榄坡和岭头一片，由湛江市评为生态文明村[1][2]。百度百科还提到，村里有火龙果种植项目，被列为“一村一品”富民兴村产业，并在2023年列入“红色村100”示范工程[2]。村里有樟木小学和镇中心小学，在校生约1200人，村委会办公楼为2层半，已修通镇通村、村通村硬底化道路11.5公里[1]。

林昶，吴川人，明洪武十八年（1385年）乙丑科进士，授署正；博雅地名网等称樟铺村是他的故里[1][3]。
