山东村是吴川市振文镇的行政村，在吴川市区西面。上、中、下三个东村的西边有山，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

山东起初是沙尾行政村的一部分（1952年，第三区），1957年称山东乡而仍由沙尾乡管，1958年随沙尾入振文公社。1964年分设山东大队；1983年改乡委会，隶振文区；1998年起为山东村民委员会。[1]

概况[edit]

全村8个自然村，7070人（1401户），耕地面积1919亩，梅塘公路在村边经过。地少人多，村民多出外打工做生意，在家种水稻、花生和大蒜，近年引进美国超甜玉米，还有250亩香蕉地和一个养猪场。[1]

辖区有完全小学2所，在校学生1530多人。[1]
