历史沿革[edit]
最初是1952年的泗岸行政村，当时归第五区，与塘㙍同属一区；1957年缩为小乡，转入振文区，翌年成泗岸大队。1961年被并进山圩小公社，三年后重新独立。此后建制屡改：乡人民政府（1983年）、管理会（1987年）、管区（1989年），1998年起为泗岸村民委员会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转录的村情材料，村委会在吴川市西南，北邻樟铺镇，西与黄坡、塘㙍两镇相接，下辖19个自然村，有9380人（2310户），耕地面积4135亩，以种稻为主，是振文镇的粮食产区。村内19个自然村的水泥路全部贯通。[1][2]
约四成村民去广州、佛山、深圳等地做事，多从事废品回收和建筑业。上屯兴、教岭、下坡、下屯兴等村发展较快，村道装了路灯，建了文化楼。村委会环村路灯工程于2007年底完工。[1][2]
