历史沿革[edit]
最早的建制是1951年的振文圩互助组，由振文区公所和沙尾乡公所管；两年后成为振文圩生产队，1954年有一部分人迁出，另立振文圩居民社，改由振文区人民政府直管。[1][2]
1957年生产队和居民社并成独立大队，隶灯塔公社；1961年一分为二，各成生产队，隶振文公社；1978年再合并为振文圩大队。进入1980年代，先成立振文圩村民委员会（1983年），到1987年才定为振城居民委员会，归镇人民政府管，名称一直用到现在。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
- 2026年3月，成为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇之一。[1]
