良村是长岐镇下辖的行政村，博雅地名网作“良村村”，辖东良、南良、西良、旺庆园等自然村，在鉴江下游东岸，距吴川市区约10公里，面积约2.8平方公里，常住人口3871人[1]。村中的张氏宗祠是1945年抗日武装起义的指挥部旧址[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

良村在1951年至1980年是大队，1981年改乡，1988年起先为管理区，后为村委会[1]。村名取意于这里一片沃野，是个好地方[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

张氏宗祠位于村中的良村中心小学内，始建于1553年。1942年李雨山任三民乡乡长，在祠内办中心小学掩护党员；1944年夏，特派员黄明德化身教师，把领导机关搬了过来；1945年1月16日，来自茂名、化县各游击小组的四百多人集结后在此起义，队伍组成抗日游击大队，大队长李一鸣、政委黄明德，李雨山是副大队长并兼第一中队长，1月19日并入南路人民抗日解放军[2]。祠堂2002年10月成为市里的爱国主义教育基地，次年12月被列为吴川市文物保护单位，到2017年底又入选湛江市「红色村」示范党建工程点[2]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，良村村凭橘红上了名单[1]。2019年9月，该村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
