高栈村是吴川市浅水镇西北部的行政村，邻接茂名市公馆镇和化州市同庆镇，总面积24.2平方千米，设29个村民小组[1][2]。种植水稻、甘蔗、花生，是浅水镇的粮、糖产地之一[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

马上垌、那邹、高栈三个大队在1980年合并，设高栈乡；1983年乡改为管理区，自1986年起称高栈村委会[1]。

经济与教育[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，全村6888人，有耕地5478亩、林地11800亩，山塘和水库水面1415亩；那邹、高栈、马上垌三所小学共有学生760人[2]。高栈村在2018年度评选中被列为「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）[1]。
