浅水镇是广东省湛江市吴川市东北部的一个镇，东北与茂名市的公馆镇、镇盛镇相邻，东南与兰石镇相接，南面是长岐镇，西面与化州市同庆镇交界，辖区面积78.09平方千米[1]。2019年末，全镇户籍人口42908人[1]。镇政府设在凯旋路18号，下辖1个社区、7个行政村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在1958年划归吴川县；此后一度属长岐公社，后从长岐公社析出前进公社。浅水公社之名始于1969年，1983年政社分设改称区，到1987年3月又撤区设镇[1][2]。据博雅地名网，镇名取自所在的三丫江水浅河段[2]。

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网转述的旧资料，镇办和乡办企业涉及红砖、藿香，也有玻璃、塑料、皮革和橡胶制品；农作物以稻谷和番薯为大宗，经济作物包括甘蔗和花生，水果有柑橙、荔枝、龙眼、芒果[2]。2019年，规模以上工业产值达3.3亿元，增长21.22%；固定资产投资完成8024万元，财政税收1138.9万元[1]。梅茂公路从镇境穿过，广湛高速公路的浅水出入口在龙首村[2][3]。

荣誉[edit]

浅水镇2022年9月被认定为湛江市文明镇，2024年3月获得「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」称号，2026年3月入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[2]。
