历史沿革[edit]
据说车板圩始建于康熙年间，赶集的人推手推车、赶牛车运货，在车板上摆货出售，圩因此叫车板，居委会设在圩内，也沿用此名。[1] 居委会1987年设立，1989年一度称管理区，2002年定为现名车板社区居民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区在镇的西部，东面是营圩居委会，南面是车板村，西面是南垌村，北面是龙塘村，总面积0.82平方千米。[1]
人口民族[edit]

经济[edit]
社区耕地约1.3平方千米，种水稻、花生、甘蔗和蔬菜；2016年人均年收入4000元。辖区内有小学1所、卫生站1所，房屋多为混凝土楼房，少数是砖瓦平房。[1]
2019年9月，车板社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
