安糖社区因居委会驻在原安铺糖厂内而得名，位于安铺镇西北部[1][2]。

糖厂建于1959年，1999年因政策关闭；安铺派出所2001年迁入厂区，社区居委会于2005年8月设立[1]。

辖区涵盖东环路、黄村仔、东山埠和糖厂一带，占地0.34平方千米，有497户、约1987人，居民全是非农业人口；区内有木业公司和酒精厂[1]。
