峥角溪村属湛江市廉江市横山镇管辖，地处广东省西南部，是一个行政村，村委会设在东村，下属8条自然村。[1]据博雅地名网所载村情，全村总人口6114人，耕地约6274亩，有党员102名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年起建里塘乡；1955年办初级社；1958年办高级社，社址在西村。1960年大队与晨光农场并作其三分场；1962年场社分开，拆成东村、西村、后溪三个大队，1964年并作峥角溪大队。1983年起叫峥角溪乡，1987年时作管理区，1999年起建村委会。[1]

村中种植的农作物主要有水稻、番薯、花生、糖蔗、北运菜。[1]

下属自然村包括尖角、西村、高平、后溪、水口山等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
