地名由来[edit]
村南有一片田垌横着穿过，村民以“横垌”为名立村，又分为上、下两村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1953年时划归西山乡，1959年时立大队，1961年拆成横垌、田坡两个大队，1963年并作横垌大队。1983年起叫横垌乡，1987年起改由西山管理区统管，1999年时改作称西山村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中种植的农作物主要有水稻、番薯、花生、北运菜。[1]

下属自然村包括横垌上、横垌下、横仔、溪墩、田坡等。[1]
荣誉[edit]
