铺洋村属湛江市廉江市横山镇管辖，地处广东省西南部，是一个行政村，村委会设在大湾村，下属22条自然村。[1]据博雅地名网所载村情，全村总人口8539人，耕地约8726亩，有党员148名。[1]

1958年时立铺洋大队，1983年起叫铺洋乡，1987年时作管理区，1999年起建村委会。[1]
