洋尾大队成立于1961年，1986年成为村委会，1988年成为管理区，1999年起成为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，洋尾村辖下的三元台村、洋尾村被广东省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]

在2019年9月公布的名单中，它是「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
