因居民以渔业为生而得名。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1954年成立渔业互助组，1955年改为渔业合作社，1958年改为渔业大队，1983年成为管理区，1999年定名渔业社区居民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，渔业社区的海滨街、零散街、海滨巷、渔民街居民小组被广东省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
在2019年9月公布的名单中，它是「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
