名称由来[edit]
因取“锦绣华丽，和平安详”之意而得名。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
锦和居民大队成立于1964年，1982年改称城内乡，1986年改为锦和居委会，1988年成为居民管理区，1999年定名锦和社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，锦和社区的老街、中兴街、新建街居民小组，以及建设居委会辖下的建设街、东建街、新民里、农队居民小组，被广东省爱卫会评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
