麻登村是坡头镇下辖的行政村，城乡分类为镇乡结合区。2018年列入广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位，2022年9月被认定为湛江市文明村。[1][1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年成立农会，1952年设麻登乡，属吴川县第八区；1956年建初级合作社，次年升为高级社，1958年称麻登大队。1983年6月田坉大村并入，设麻登乡；1987年7月为麻登村委会，1989年9月为麻登管理区，1999年5月成立村民委员会。[1]
