新村场社区是湛江市霞山区建设街道辖下的社区，以辖区内的新村场得名，2003年4月起由工农街道改归建设街道[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身即新村场[1]。2002年9月，新村场的两个居委会（第一、第二）并为一个，建起新村场社区居委会，那时归工农街道管[1]。2003年4月重新划分辖区，社区转入建设街道，沿用今名[1]。

2019年9月，新村场社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
